Adam Bilbey: 56% Merlot, 4.4% Cabernet Franc, 39.65 Caberbet Sauvignon. A generous and inviting nose of blackberry, mulberry, violets and plums. Substance and generosity with spice and cedar notes adding to the core of fruit. A plush edge to the mouth with plum, blackcurrant and cassis. A well balanced use of oak here with spice, mocha to match that core of cassis fruit. There is a richness and exotic edge that is a rarity this year.
