Tasting Note
Nicholas Jackson, MW
Nose of considerable depth. Full and ample, soft and caressing. Not altogether typical for this property due to the proportion of Merlot, and a very generous, ample, supple Merlot it is. Hard to resist the generous, supple fruitiness. Some complex smoke and warm spice notes add a delicious complexity. Quite rich and sweet on the finish, where you do also find that lingering Margaux perfume. Feels a little ethereal at present, but should solidify.

Very charming nose of ripe black fruit. On the palate, the wine has a good structure with concentration and power delivering a very good wine with a long fresh finish.
