Tasting Note
Nicholas Jackson, MW
Such purity of fruit! Very fine boned and elegant with a pure limestone expression. This is the essence of the place. Succulent fruit, yes, but with a firm acid backbone. Really finely done and will make great old bones in 20 years.

More expanse and weight of fruit than I recall from previous vintages. Polished black cherry, plum, mint and spice. Cream and spice coats the glossy black fruit. An orange peel and chocolate edge to the concentrated fruit. Good attack and mid palate guides the powerful finish. Not lacking in power, that's for sure.
