Bottled exclusively for the Hong Kong Whisky Fellows, House Welley, Chirstoph Kirsch of Kirsch Import, Sebastian Jaeger, and Boris Borissov of Wu Dram Clan, the cask #5403 stands as one of the most ambitious CoD projects of its time. Drawn from a single first-fill PX/Oloroso European oak butt, it delivers the most pronounce old “sherried-Islay” nosing with an immensely long finish one could possibly imagine.
