2019 Wine Market Report

KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM OUR REPORT:

- Domaine de la Romanée-Conti continued its dominance of the fine wine market, representing 25% of all wine sales by value at $27 million 
- Burgundy and Spirits gained wallet share, reaching new highs at 50% and 13% of sales, respectively
- The average bottle price for Spirits at auction was over 12x the value of the average bottle price for wine
- Asian buyers continue to claim a greater share of our global sales, comprising 66% of sales – the highest share since 2013
