Wow - such bite and attack on the palate. Great, crunchy substance here. That gorgeous Cabernet Franc detail allied to a wonderfully glycerol richness. And all fresh and clean and precise. A big wine but so tempting and moreish. Brilliant verve and character. Pretty wonderful and totally authentic. Wonderful perfumed finish à la Chambolle.

All the Cabernet Franc from the estate went into the first wine. An intense nose of roses and black berries. A powerful wine with a very good structure and a good balance between the oak and the fruit. Very charming with an incredibly long finish. An amazing Vieux Chateau Certan.
