Very silky and elegant in a classic Lafite mould. Very cedary and seductive, with a milk chocolate finish. So finely sculpted. Tannins are very ripe and succulent; there is a good concentration and density here in a wine that can sometimes be quite light. This is a wonderful Carruades - so true to its noble origins.

Polished, glossy, silky red and black fruit. Pure and finely grained with a lovely texture and weight in the mouth. Excellent definition with an elegant, creamy, spicy, fresh finish. For Carruades, this is very expressive, opulent and plush. Fresh graphite, cedar, tobacco finish with red cherries. A super Carruades - the best tasted in recent years.
