This is the first vintage of LVMH's new Chinese wine. The grapes are grown in the Yunnan province, near the (real life!) town of Shangri-La, in the foothills of the Himalayas. It's a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.

Tasting Note

Nicholas Jackson: Gently herbal nose with the Cabernet Franc lift really showing through. Quite Bordeaux like but with great purity of fruit. An elegant mouthfeel, with fine grained, compact tannins and a seam of fresh acidity. Beautifully balanced and elegant - a wine of real distinction and grace.
