Jolie-Pitt and Perrin: Miraval, Blanc, Cotes de Provence
In Stock (24+)

PERFECT MATCH
Beginning in 2012, Château Miraval owners Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt partnered with the Perrin family to manage the viticulture and winemaking at the estate. As owners of Château Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and various properties throughout the Rhône Valley, Famille Perrin are luminaries of the wine world and masters of the Southern Rhône. They are perfectly suited to produce the highest quality wines from the historic Provençal terroir of Miraval, located between Aix-en-Provence and Cannes.

THE ESTATE WINE
The vineyards at Miraval date to as early as the 13th century. The estate is now farmed 100% organically with no use of herbicides or pesticides. The Perrins have always been on the vanguard of quality-conscious winemaking and were early devotees to organic viticulture in the 1950s. This Cotes de Provence white is made in 100% local grape varietal - Rolle.

This is a delicious, soft white. The nose is full of white peach and honeysuckle. Not as extreme as a Viognier based Rhone wine but definitely true to its roots of the south of France. The palate is full and round with a wet stones character. Very well made wine with a wide appeal. 90 pts
