Napa’s Eisele Vineyard has a storied history. Associated with some of wine’s greatest names, such as Ridge, Joseph Phelps, the Araujos, and now, that of François Pinault (owner of Château Latour, among others), Eisele has long been recognised as among Napa’s most important sites.
Located in Calistoga, at the top of Napa Valley, the alluvial soils on the west side of the vineyard are the source of the benchmark Eisele Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is not a Napa blockbuster; it majors instead on harmony and balance, for which you can read: drinkability.
