Vibrant Côte-Rôtie from Guigal

Etienne Guigal founded his small estate in the village of Ampuis in 1946 and is now a famed and leading producer in the Rhône region, making some of the world’s most sought-after wines.

We are delighted to offer wines from two of the famed ‘La La’ single vineyards - La Mouline and La Turque - some of the most vibrant and profound wines from Côte-Rôtie. La Turque is aromatic and intriguing, while La Mouline has a larger proportion of Viognier, making it particularly perfumed and welcoming in its youth.

In addition to these iconic wines, Guigal also makes an energetic and intense wine - ‘Ex Voto’ - which has quickly become a benchmark for the Hermitage appellation. Now available in the 2012 vintage, the Guigal ‘Ex Voto’ Rouge is a stunning, 100% Syrah wine with layers of ripe black fruit, spice and minerality.
