This Domaine, founded by the late Henry-Frédéric Roch - co-director of Domaine de la Romanée Conti (DRC), was once an “under-the-radar” estate for those in the know, – today it is one of the most sought-after in Burgundy.
With a distinctive freshness, brought about through whole-bunch fermentation, these wines have a magical way of being juicy, spicy, light, and complex when both young or mature.
The flagship wines are the Grand Cru Clos-de-Bèze and the Premier Cru Monopole Clos des Corvées. The Grand Cru shows terroir, purity, power, and intensity. A specific feature of the Monopole is having undersized berries or “millerandés” which gives this wine a lot more concentration and structure than others from the same appellation.
Also, I would like to present the Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Clos Goillote, which is just 0.55 hectares in size, and always provides superbly perfumed wines. We have four different vintages available, offering the perfect occasion to drink them side-by-side in a mini vertical tasting and impress your guests.
Finally, we have available just 1 of the rare 6-bottles “Clos Vineyard” 2017 assortment case - a unique purchase opportunity for true collectors, which contains:
1 x Clos-de-Bèze
1 x Clos Vougeot
1 x Clos des Corvées
1 x Clos Goillotte
2 x Clos Argillières
