Cristal – the champagne that embodies prestige, elegance, and craftsmanship – is back with two stunning vintages: Cristal 2016 and Cristal Rosé 2014.
Critics are praising the 2016 Cristal with outstanding reviews. Antonio Galloni of Vinous awarded it 96 points, calling it a “wonderfully refined edition of Cristal...light on its feet and super-refined, the 2016 is exquisite in its understated beauty.” William Kelley of Wine Advocate gave it 97 points, highlighting its “serious concentration, a pure core of fruit, chalky structuring dry extract, and a long, intensely mineral finish.”
On the other hand, the Cellar Master at Louis Roederer details the Cristal Rosé 2014 as displaying “incredible precision. An almost electric delicacy with great intensity of flavours.” He goes on by praising the cuvée – “with its trim, ripe fruit and delicious texture…” Notably, William Kelley of Wine Advocate awarded the wine 97 points, and Antonio Galloni of Vinous 97+ points.
