Never the most powerful but usually the most elegant, the wines of the Margaux appellation are Left Bank superstars, showing sensuous aromas and a silky texture. Moreover, they are consistently more affordable than their northern neighbours in St. Julien, Pauillac or St. Estèphe.
Our range features multiple vintages of Rauzan-Ségla and the 2015 Malescot St.-Exupery, both producing gorgeous wines today. In terms of vintages, Margaux wines tend to be a bit more accessible when younger than other Médoc wines. The 2015s are already giving a lot of pleasure, while 2010s are singing today.
Sotheby’s Wine is pleased to present the following selection of Margaux wines, characterized by perfume and finesse over concentration and tannic heft; cheers!
