Taittinger is one of the oldest, most revered houses in Champagne. A family-run institution helmed by Vitalie Taittinger since she took over the estate from her father in 2020, the Champagne house specializes in exquisite Blanc de Blancs expressions that meld svelte poise with signature notes of praline richness and nutty depth.
The flagship cuvée – Comtes de Champagne – is among Champagne collectors' favorite prestige cuvées. It is an iconic vintage bottling assembled from the finest Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, like Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Named after the medieval counts of the region and first produced in 1952, Comtes de Champagne is 100% Chardonnay that sees little French oak – a masterful study in fine, chalk-infused purity.
A coveted pink wine, the Comtes de Champagne Rosé is made only in standout vintages, entirely sourced from Grand Cru vineyards. Blending Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the 2007 is velvety, as light and crisp on the tongue as it is densely loaded with flavor. Rose petals and raspberry play off strains of salinity and cinnamon spice.
