Rooted in the heart of Meursault, Domaine Jobard is one of Burgundy’s most respected family-owned domaines, with a history dating back to 1860. Today, Antoine Jobard – the 5th generation to lead the domaine since 2007 – carries forward the family legacy with dedication and care.
Antoine’s philosophy is thoughtful and uncompromising in both vineyard and cellar: The domaine has practiced organic farming for decades, officially certified in 2019. In the cellar, Antoine favors an extended élevage of 18 to 24 months on lees, with up to 20% new oak used. Bottling slightly earlier than his father did, Antoine avoids a second summer in barrel and minimizes the use of sulfur – preserving the hallmark freshness, minerality, and vibrancy.
Antoine’s wines are widely regarded among the finest expressions of Meursault for their traditional, terroir-driven style and remarkable aging potential. We are excited to present the latest arrivals from this exceptional producer: featuring their iconic Meursault village, alongside the rich and structured Blagny 1er Cru, and the jewel of the commune, Genevrières 1er Cru – a fine gem destined to evolve beautifully over time.
