Roederer's Cristal Across the Decades

Louis Roederer's Cristal needs little introduction, although I am still surprised by the number of drinkers who do not yet recognise its status among the very top rank of Champagne prestige cuvées. Cristal dazzles with its textural finesse, purity of fruit and mineral expression. It is a brilliant champagne in almost every vintage.

We always keep Cristal in stock, but at present we are delighted to offer a range of vintages spanning 40 years. The 1983 is, of course, fully mature now, with layers of soft fruits and tertiary complexities: a rare treat. From a big, warm year, the 1990 is hedonistic and voluptuous, while the 1995 rosé comes from a stunning vintage for the property and will be one of the best champagnes you enjoy this year.

More recent years are represented by the cool, chiselled 2013, and the more succulent but nonetheless fine-boned 2015. Whatever year you choose, you cannot go wrong with this treasure trove of delights.
