Refreshing Riesling for Summer

With the scorching heat upon us, there is nothing I desire more than a glass of refreshing and ice-cold Riesling. Delicate, versatile and the ability to showcase a sense of place, German Riesling has it all!

Established in 1911, Joh Jos Prum is without a doubt one of the finest estates in the Mosel. The estate has 33.5 acres of vineyards, with their top plot being the Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard. The wines from this vineyard display beautiful, pure, ripe aromas and stone fruit flavours such as peach, with a fine mineral edge.

The Prum family’s holdings also include many of the Mosel’s best sites, such as Zeltinger Sonnenuhr and Graacher Himmelreich. At the Graacher Himmelreich site, the wines show refreshing acidity and vibrant fruits. At Zeltingen Sonnenuhr, the wines are classic Mosel at the core, long-lived and characterful at every stage of development.
