Today, I am pleased to share the new release of Antonio Quari’s Ladoix.
Antonio Quari is the Cellar Master at Domaine Prieuré Roch, and under the close tutelage of Henri-Frédéric Roch and Yannick Champ, he has become a strong proponent of vineyard health and minimalist intervention.
Since 2017, Antonio has made a single cuvée under his own name: a Pinot Noir from the Les Briquottes vineyard in Ladoix.
The plot was planted in 1976 and has been organically farmed for more than ten years by the only organic grower in Ladoix. In the cellar, Antonio crafts the wine with a similar philosophy to that used at Domaine Prieuré Roch: 100% whole bunch fermentation, pigéage done by foot and remontage by gravity only. The wines are aged for ten months in old barrels before being bottled; unfined and unfiltered. Only around 2,000 bottles were produced.
The wine will be ready in Hong Kong in November 2024. We will contact you for pick-up or delivery once the wines arrive at our facility.
This offer is valid until August 19, 2024. While stocks last. E&OE.
