While not owned by them, Latour à Pomerol has been farmed and produced by the Right Bank royalty that is the Moueix family for over 60 years. The property sits on the western side of the appellation, on a range of different soil types: gravel, clay and loam. The grape composition is simple: 100% Merlot. The result is wines that combine the characteristically velvety, generous texture of Pomerol, with the freshness and finesse that is so typical of the Moueix style. At these prices, that's an irresistible package.
