Today, I would like to introduce one of my favorite wineries from the Barossa Valley of Australia, Torbreck.

Torbreck was established in 1994 by David Powell, who has a vision of crafting exceptional wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Barossa Valley.

The Descendant and Run Rig are both a blend of Shiraz and Viognier. The former shows rich and concentrated flavours of dark barriers, spice, and hints of apricot while the latter offers wonderful aromatics and exhibits power with latent richness.

The Factor and The Struie are made from 100% Shiraz. The Factor offers dense texture and richness to the palate with subtle notes of olive tapenade, saddle leather and mineral. The Struie is relatively elegant, it shows blackberries, blueberries and milk chocolate flavours with graphite and mineral-like complexity from granite and schist soils in the Eden Valley.

The 100% Grenache, Les Amis offers a multi-layered perfume of violets, kirsch and concentrated red berry aromas with a succulent, dense and vibrant fruit intensity. It consistently reveals a savoury elegance in its youth and will continue to build in complexity for many years to come.
