Few names resonate as deeply with lovers of great white Burgundy as Ramonet – and for many, it’s the very first that comes to mind.
Founded in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, the domaine has long been associated with exceptional craftsmanship, later carried on by his grandsons Jean-Claude and Noël. Starting with the 2014 vintage, the two brothers began managing their vineyards independently, with Noël selling his grown grapes to his brother.
The 2023 vintage marks a true turning point: the beginning of a new chapter under the Ramonet Noël & Fils label, led by Noël and his sons, Michael and Pierre-François. Their wines reflect a clear and confident identity – marked by precision, tension, and a vibrant expression of terroir. The Ramonet DNA remains unmistakable: purity, mineral-driven structure, and restrained elegance, with subtle oak and striking energy.
The domaine produces only white wines, all from the most revered terroirs of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, which we are pleased to offer in very limited quantities.
