Mature La Mission Haut-Brion Direct from the Château

We are delighted to offer a selection of mature vintages direct from the cellars of one of Bordeaux's most storied properties: Château La Mission Haut-Brion. The reds in this collection span three decades, from 1986 to 2007, and include large formats. It goes without saying that you will never find better provenance and condition.

The vintages start with the rich, concentrated 1986. Both this and the thrilling 1990 are available in bottles and double magnums. From there, the 1990s are charted with the rarely-seen 1993 (good for a birth year gift!) and the classic pair of 1995 and 1996. The high point of the decade for the property is undoubtedly the 1998, available here in magnum and double magnum format.

Among the younger vintages, it's hard to look past the sensational millennium vintage, although the opulence of 2003, the product of a heatwave summer, is always alluring. The 2005 rivals the 1998 and 2000 for sheer completeness, while the lighter 2007 is drinking beautifully today. It's hard to go wrong here. Enjoy.
