Time flies and we already find ourselves 2 months into 2023!

In March, it is my pleasure to present a range of Italian wine selections from Sotheby’s Wine.

Italy regularly tops the list of the world’s most prolific wine-producing countries and its vinous history can be dated back to more than 4,000 years ago. An extremely complex and diverse patchwork of appellations, the country has over 350 official grape varieties and 20 sub-regions.

Starting from the well-known Barolo and Barbaresco in Piedmont and Veneto in Northern Italy, to the classic and lively Tuscany in Central Italy and the dynamic Southern Italy including Sicily and Etna. The wine styles are varied and worth discovering.
