For the Love of Terroir: Les Parcellaires de Saulx

Terrence Chim | April 2, 2026

In the evolving landscape of Burgundy, a new generation of micro-négociants has risen as swiftly – or, as gracefully – as Les Parcellaires de Saulx. Founded in 2017 and housed in a historic Meursault manor with over 1,500 square meters of underground cellars dating back to 1908, this artisanal micro-négociant is unambiguously one of the names to follow in the years ahead.

Led by Isabelle Laurand, a talented Burgundian native with long-standing relationships in the motherland, the négociant upholds a simple, yet uncompromising winemaking philosophy: one wine, from one grower, from one climat. They work exclusively with organic or biodynamic growers, and the use of new oak is deliberately minimized, preserving the nuance and identity of each terroir. This meticulous approach reflects Isabelle’s love for the terroir-expressive wines that showcase the classic Burgundian precision and clarity.

Their production spans approximately 40 climats across both the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, with many of which are produced in extremely limited quantities – sometimes just a single barrel per climat annually – making each release a genuine rarity and a glimpse into the Burgundian terroirs.

We are delighted to present a curated selection from this rising micro-négociant, featuring some of the iconic sites such as Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru and Volnay Les Mitans 1er Cru. This is a unique opportunity to explore Isabelle’s interpretation of the Burgundian excellence – wines crafted with love and unwavering respect for the land.
