5th Generation At Work
Domaine Jean Grivot has been in the same family for generations and is one of the leading producers in Burgundy. Étienne Grivot took over the Domaine from his father, Jean, in 1987. Now, Étienne has passed the responsibilities of managing the Domaine to his daughter, Mathilde, though he still remains very much involved. Altogether, the family has assembled an excellent collection of vineyards spreading across Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, and Nuits-Saint-Georges.
They are making high-quality, good value wines at different price points. The estate produces consistent quality wines with good concentration and complexity, with meticulous vineyard management and a close eye on quality.
Personally, I love their village-level reds. They are juicy, aromatic and lively - perfect as a weekday dinner companion. Their Grand Cru reds are serious and mind-blowing, yet at a very reasonable price.
I invite you to explore our selection of Domaine Jean Grivot below.
