This is a domaine that requires no introduction. The legendary Vosne-Romanee estate of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti makes the most sought-after wines in the world from an enviable collection of Grand Cru vineyards. A bottle of 1945 Romanee-Conti recently fetched an unprecedented price of US $558,000 in Sotheby's Wine New York sale and set the world record for the most expensive bottle of wine sold at auction. This, once again, pushed the domaine to the top of the game.
