Each of them represents its terroirs and shows its unique aromas and sensations.
With reddish clay and limestone soils, Fins Bois produces eaux-de-vie characterized by freshness and lightness while Petite Champagne offers fine, structured eaux-de-vie with vigour and length on the palate because of the greyish, chalky soils. Borderies is the smallest and most exclusive cru in Cognac, with heavy clay and limestone soils. It shows delicate, elegant eaux-de-vie with a subtle, floral aromatic profile and pronounced notes of candied fruit, soft spices and honey.
