BORDEAUX EN PRIMEUR 2020 – ADVANCE SALES OFFER
The Bordeaux 2020 En Primeur campaign has started with the release of Cheval Blanc, which means all wine merchants around the world are hastily finalizing their preparations for the release of hundreds of wines over the next six weeks.
As travel to France is still very restricted, we were not able to undertake our usual ten day trip to taste samples directly in Bordeaux. However, we have received (and continue receiving) multiple samples from our friends in Bordeaux, so we have an excellent idea about the quality of the vintage.
VINTAGE REPORT & WISHLIST
As usual, Nick Jackson, MW has written our Vintage Report, but we do not have our usual tasting notes and the selection of our favourite wines to share with you.
As we go through the campaign, we will be adding some of our own tasting notes and we will add notes and ratings from major critics as they are published (samples were sent to various critics at different times).
WISH LIST
If you are interested in participating in purchasing En Primeur this year, we strongly recommend returning the wish list to us. This will ensure you get priority access to the wines as they are released. Given that the quality is high, prices may be attractive and there are likely to be limited volumes due to drought.
