Producer: André Dézat & Fils
Lot 28: Named Lot 28 because Firmin Dézat was 28 years old when we conceived the own label project with him.
The Dézat family has a history of winemaking in Sancerre that dates back to the 16th century and is one of the most respected estates in the region. Firmin Dézat is now at the helm and makes a classic, mineral, chalky, chiseled Sancerre. We have been working with him since we launched our retail business and it is our #2 best selling wine.
Tasting Note
Victor Rabot
A very classic style of Sancerre with plenty of refreshing acidity. Crisp, zippy, and mineral with notes of fresh cut grass, wet stones, green apple. An excellent example of Sauvignon Blanc from a cooler climate. It is perfect as an aperitif or with smoked salmon, seafood and fish.
