Italy

What we love about Italy is the great diversity of the wines, with their indigenous grape varieties, and so we are always looking for the best examples from each region, whether in a modern or traditional style. While our hearts may lie with the Nebbiolo in Piedmont in the North, we also enjoy the Sangiovese in Tuscany, along with the Super Tuscans, all the way down to the Nerello Mascalese in Sicily. When you eat Italian food, you need Italian wine!

Baudana, Luigi: Barolo
In Stock (5 Available)

Nicholas Jackson: Luigi Baudana is the small, boutique Barolo traditionalist now owned by the brilliant Giuseppe Vaira estate.  The winemaking is everything we love about the best Barolo: pure, fine boned, perfumed Nebbiolo.  These are wonderful wines.
