We have known Elisa Scavino for 20 years now, whose family is based in Barolo. Her father Enrico was a pioneer in experimenting with 100% barrique oak and established himself as an avant garde winemaker in the region. Elisa’s Langhe Nebbiolo balances freshness and acidity with enough opulence and richness.

Classic Nebbiolo showing lovely rich fruit on the nose balanced by lightness and freshness on the palate. Notes of red cherry fruit, black tea, red licorice, tar and roses. Robust on the palate with healthy acidity, this wine is the perfect match with trattoria food, especially pizza and pasta, as well as grilled poultry and meats.
