Serena Sutcliffe, MW
55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot.  32hl/ha.  50% new oak.  On the nose, this has real opulence of fruit, but it is big and gentle at the same time – a very cassis, very Giscours bouquet.  A taste of café crème, with very smooth and silky tannins. Perfumed Margaux to the end and an excellent Giscours at every level.

Nicholas Jackson, MW
Dark and spicy and intense on the nose. Quite dramatic even. Big tannins for this property but they are sleek and beautifully handled.  Really quite silky in spite of those tannins.  May need a few years longer than usual to be ready, but this will make for incredibly satisfying drinking. Good stuff.

Jamie Ritchie
Red and black cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants. Good concentration and depth, with weight and intensity of fruit, along with a healthy dose of tannin and acidity that is in balance. Retains its Margaux nature, but with more stuffing than usual. Creamy, juicy fruit with a toasty, cedar, spice, graphite, mineral finish. A compact, powerful, structured, balanced Giscours.
