Serena Sutcliffe, MW
37% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc.  39hl/ha.  100% new barrels.  Great freshness on the nose – the Cabernet Franc was exceptional here this year, so think scent.  Great clarity of expression on the palate, with a firm, deep centre and marked definition.  A veil of cassis, in spite of less Cabernet Sauvignon than usual, with a finish of pure, linear fruit.

Nicholas Jackson, MW
Very supple and sweet, beautifully textured and velvety.  A wine of real sensuality.  Gorgeous expression.  Very perfectly expressed.  Seamless and finely made in a faultlessly modern register.

Adam Bilbey
Red currant, blueberry, cranberry with a woodland floor edge to it. Effervescent, energetic and healthy nose with freshness and expanse. Lovely flesh of fruit, with texture and. Lovely crunch and very honest expression of the terroir. The oak is there with the cream and spice working in balance with the fruit. Lots here with detail, complexity aided superb framework of tannins. Deceptively powerful with great length on the finish. Reminds me of a Bonnes Mares.
