The World’s Greatest Vineyard

An Unparalleled Experience

Few people would disagree that among the many great single vineyards from around the world, that of Romanée-Conti stands alone.  Not only as a mythical wine - considerably more discussed than tasted - but for those lucky enough to experience it, offering an unparalleled experience of Pinot Noir, of Burgundy, of wine itself.

This hallowed plot, just a stone’s throw from the village of Vosne-Romanée, has long been considered the source of Burgundy’s greatest red wine. And the vineyard’s great potential has long been brilliantly captured by Aubert de Villaine’s Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.

It is rare to see Romanée-Conti at retail given that the annual production hovers around 5000 bottles. It is even rarer to see a vertical offering covering every vintage from 2005 to 2011.  The blockbuster 2005 and the stunning 2010 vintages may steal the limelight here. But the playful 2007 and exuberant 2009 should not be overlooked.

These bottles come with outstanding European provenance, and have been inspected by a leading independent expert who verified their condition and authenticity.
