Large Format Bordeaux

Giscours - Rauzan Segla - Latour - Mouton - Petrus

Along with Champagne, Bordeaux may be the wine that most benefits from being drunk from larger format. Large and very large bottles give an extra dimension to the wine, in terms of seamless texture and integration of tannins and acidity, even in younger wines.

Luckily, many of the 3L and larger bottles we have in this list are at least 10 years old, and will provide some excellent immediate drinking for larger family groups. And who knows, perhaps you need the extra volume in quarantine?

In the list below, it’s hard to overlook the great value Giscours 2005 from that glorious vintage; the brilliant, exotic Rauzan-Segla 2009 or the stately classics: Latour, Mouton, or if you are really ready for a party, Petrus.
