The Stunning Wines of Domaine Jean-Noel Gagnard

Classic, Radiant Chassagne-Montrachet

Our affinity for the wines of Jean-Noel Gagnard are well documented, and well grounded. Since overtaking wine-making duties from her father in 1989, Caroline I’Estime has solidified her family’s domaine as producing some of the most consistent and classic Chardonnay in the Cote de Beaune.

While it is often difficult to pinpoint a definitive style of Chassagne, a village with dozens of vignerons, negociants, and crus, the wines of Gagnard are always true-to-form: they’re graceful, vibrant, focused, yet full, firm and often show incredibly well when young.

Whether a novice, longing to discover the finer nuances of Burgundian Chardonnay, or the seasoned-enthusiast looking to expand his or her pedigree, the wines from Gagnard have something to offer everyone!
