Discover Opulent Gevrey-Chambertin from Dom. Mortet

Fruit, Spice, and Everything Nice

The wines of Domaine Denis Mortet have weight and presence that demand attention. With nearly 15 vintages under his belt, vigneron Arnaud has honed an opulent and mineraled house style since assuming responsibilities of the estate after his father, the eponymous Denis, passed unexpectedly in 2006. Mes Cinq Terroirs is the expression of Gevrey-Chambertin by way of five distinct vineyard plots owned by the domaine. Deep berry fruit and intense concentration are the norm for Mortet, who selects only the ripest, most perfect grapes from the sorting table to vinify.

While technically just a village-level wine according to the strict appellation law of Burgundy, the ever-desired Mes Cinq Terroirs is often compared to premier cru expressions. It is undoubtedly a sum greater than its parts.
