Celebrate Father’s Day with Delicious Wine

Share Another Great Memory Together

Some of the fondest memories I have with my father are the conversations and meals we’ve had together over a bottle of fine wine. These memories are abundant, yet even so, I always look forward to that next interesting glass of Red Burgundy or Northern Rhone Syrah we share and subsequently geek-out over, discuss and compare notes. Unquestionably, our mutual admiration and enjoyment of interesting wine has been a constant source of endless discussion and laughter, late evenings, and just another excuse to spend time together.
This Father’s Day, commemorate the man who helped raise you by kicking back, relaxing and enjoying a favorite bottle of wine, together… Below, we have carefully selected a variety of diverse, interesting, and delicious wines that are sure to make spending time together this Father’s Day that much more special!

Featured Wines

1997     Ridge: Monte Bello      750ml      $290.00

The Monte Bello from Ridge Vineyards has always been my benchmark for how stunning, enchanting, and hauntingly visceral the wines from Napa can be. The ‘97 is as iconic as it is delicious and a true pleasure to drink now - the perfect red to indulge your father.
2008     Dom Perignon     750ml     $185.00
The 2008 could be one of DP’s greatest cuvees, ever.. Intense and concentrated, yet effortless to drink with so much minerality and bruit fruit. This should be on anyone’s bucket list of Champagne to taste and is the perfect way to spoil him this Father’s Day.
2016     Pataille, Sylvain: Marsannay, Clos du Roy     750ml     $62.00
Pataille’s modestly priced Marsannay is gorgeous and drinks similarly to its more expensive neighbor in Gevrey-Chambertin. Deep and layered with wonderful purity of fruit - underlying softness makes this a complete village level wine. A nuanced and elegant red to enjoy together.
2017     Tempier: Bandol Rose      750ml     $39.95
Arguably Bandol’s finest and most iconic vigneron, Tempier should be in its own category of rose. Low yields and an emphasis on selecting only the best fruit result in a rose with notable intensity, concentration, and complexity - very easy to see why this is among the most sought-after roses each year. The perfect wine to serve chilled, put your feet up and relax .
2016     Powell and Son: Grenache, Mataro, Shiraz Riverside     750ml     $21.95
A true father - son collaboration in the heart of Australia’s prominent Barossa Valley with a focus on Rhone varietals. This Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro blend is all about combining power with elegance - lush, ripe black fruit flavors pave the way to a savory, long finish. An ideal pairing for an outdoor barbecue.
