A Time Capsule Cellar: Champagne

Victor Rabot | September 16, 2023

Today, we are thrilled to present an exclusive offer.

We recently acquired an impressive private cellar from a wine enthusiast whose focus lies on some of the most recognized French producers from Champagne, Rhône and Burgundy. The wine originated from an extensive assortment owned by a private individual American collector. These wines were stored in a temperature-controlled cellar within the client's residence. There are no original wooden cases as the client preferred to store the bottles in his wooden rack cellar. The majority of these wines were acquired upon release and have been carefully maintained in the cellar ever since.

In today's featured offer, we present an exciting selection of well-aged Champagnes from some of the most highly coveted houses: Krug, Dom Pérignon, Taittinger, and Louis Roederer. These bottles are from some of the finest vintages of the past decades, including the opulent and robust 1982 Dom Pérignon Rose Magnum, the exceptional 1990 Louis Roederer Cristal, and, a true gem, the rare Krug Clos du Mesnil from 1985 (only 2 bottles available).

This collection is a time capsule, providing purchasers the opportunity to savor mature wines and embark on a journey through the past. Having sampled several bottles from this remarkable cellar, we were deeply impressed by the impeccable ageing condition.

Monitor your email for upcoming offers in the weeks ahead, featuring more exquisite treasures from this remarkable cellar. We anticipate high demand for these great wines, so we invite you to place your order online or contact Cat, Tom or myself if you have any questions.

Bottle shots can provided on request. All purchases are considered final sales, and there is no option for returns under any circumstances, whether it is bottle or label condition, corked wines, or flawed wines.
