Château des Ravatys, a Côte de Brouilly from the Beaujolais region in France, is owned and operated by the Institut Pasteur, and profits directly benefit the scientific research conducted in Pasteur labs. Sotheby’s Wine has teamed up with the Institut Pasteur to offer the Institute’s own wine, Château des Ravatys Côte de Brouilly, from the Beaujolais region in France. This wine is available exclusively at Sotheby’s Wine in New York. Each time you pull a cork you will be helping to support a great cause – check it out at www.pasteurfoundation.org or www.pasteur.fr
The 2007 vintage of Château des Ravatys Côte de Brouilly, a special cuvée, was vinified in commemoration of the Institut Pasteur’s 120th anniversary. Pretty, aromatic, and full-bodied, this is a top quality, concentrated wine, made from Gamay grapes grown on the slopes of Mont Brouilly. 04/10
