Marco di Grazia, probably Italy`s best exporter of high quality Italian wines, owns this estate on Mount Etna in Sicily. Some of the highest vineyards in Europe, Terre Nere`s wines get a distinctive flavor from the volcanic ash laden soils (which is so powdery that my son Archibald looked like a coal miner five minutes after arriving at the winery) The estate`s Rosato is our `go to` every day rosé - deep salmon pink color - inviting nose and bright, fresh nutty flavor, with enough body and richness, so it is not just another bland rosé. 06/10
