Cristal 2004 is composed of 55% Pinot noir and 45% Chardonnay, of which 20% of which is matured in oak casks with batonnage done weekly. The wine is produced using select fruit from the finest vineyards of Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne, and the Côte des Blancs. This Champagne was aged for an average of five years in the cellar and then rested for eight months after disgorgement.
