Absolutely superb, with a nose of glorious orange skins and flowers and great freshness. Peaches on the palate, filling the mouth with richness and boundless youth. Brilliant wine." 04/11 Jamie Ritchie: "Oranges and lemons. Wonderful intensity. Big and very complex. Gloriously rich and honeyed, almost orange marmalade, but with a beautiful freshness and acidity. Very long finish. The glorious thing about these great Sauternes is that you can drink them young, as in from now. More and more, I drink younger Sauternes, as I love the freshness and acidity. Rieussec is at the very top of its game and making stunning wines - this is impressive." 04/11
