As one of our good friends in Hong Kong says: "We love Clape!" This is a little whacky, but fun wine. Apples, hay and straw on the nose with a rich texture and healthy acidity, along with a mineral finish. It’s a big wine, in the traditional Rhone style, with lots of character but not for the faint of heart – 14% alcohol. Fun summer drinking. JR 05/11
