Deep purple in the glass with very seductive spice aromas. An elegantly balanced, medium weight wine, distinct from both the 2006 and 2007; less dense but pretty, and juicy. Recently a bottle disappeared quickly with a Thomas Keller inspired, crispy-skinned and salty roast chicken.
