Less than 10% of Bordeaux wine is dry white, but what it may lack in fame it makes up for in quality. Almost all of the top estates in Bordeaux now produce a dry white wine, and in the Graves region south of the city of Bordeaux they’ve have been doing so for centuries.

Laurent Vaillé created the estate in 1989, with 1992 as his first vintage. From the poor limestone soils ideal for grape growing, the annual production is tiny — between 2,500-3,000 cases.
